The Capricorn 2000 EX professional weather station provides precise data capture, storage and transfer in a rugged, Stainless Steel & Aluminum construction. This scientific weather station is a flexible system that easily accepts signal inputs from a wide variety of meteorological sensors.
Data is viewed using the Capricorn 2000 Weather Display Console and/or computer weather software connected to the Control Module via dual RS-232 serial ports.
The Control Module for this digital weather station is housed in a WeatherProof enclosure which includes a data logger, storing up to 511 records at user-defined intervals. Dual on-board RS-232 interface ports allow simultaneous connection to CWS proprietary Weather Display Console, modem, or directly to a computer.
This standard system comes with wind speed and direction sensor (anemometer), barometric pressure sensor, temperature probe, relative humidity probe, self-aspirating radiation shield, rain gauge and wireless transceiver with 20 Mile line-of-sight range @ 900MHz. The Optional additions to this wireless weather station include a heated rain gauge, soil temperature probes, soil moisture probes, solar radiation (pyranometer) sensor and leaf wetness sensor.
