WeatherLink for Vantage Pro2 with Streaming Data Logger For ham radio operators, including storm chasers and volunteer weather watchers.
Connects a Vantage Pro2 or original Vantage Pro console, or Weather Envoy to a ham radio or TNC modem for instant transmission of both your location and the local weather condtions via APRS (Automated Position Reporting System). Data submitted via APRS lets emergency personnel map changing weather conditions in real-time, and also helps the National Weather Service develop improved weather prediction models. Datalogger also simultaneously logs and stores the data, which can later be downloaded to your PC for all the graphing, charting, and analysis inlcuded with our standard WeatherLink. Includes streaming data logger, software on CD, and an 8ft (2.4m) cable to connect the data logger to your computer or modem. For downloading to a PC, you need Windows 95/NT4.0/98/2000/ME/XP and one free serial port.
To track multiple stations on the same computer, add one WeatherLink for each station. To view the same on multiple computers, add one Extra User License for each computer.Compatible with both original Vantage Pro and Vantage Pro2. Not for use with WeatherLink for Mac... sorry. FREE Shipping USA & Int'l via USPS or UPS - usually 3-7 days in USA; 4-10 days Int'l

Time Out Period: . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . The streaming data logger utilizes a time-out period for ceasing streaming whenever software attempts to communicate to the logger. Once communications to WeatherLink are initiated and successful, the streaming data logger will be unable to communicate with the Streaming Data Utility until the Time Out Period expires.

Data Logger Archived Data
The Data Logger stores up to 2560 archive records (one 52-byte record per archive interval) for later transfer to your computer. The archive records are stored in 128K of non-volatile memory; protecting the data even if the console loses power. Maxima, minima, averages, and totals are taken over the archive interval.
